Using Spotlight
These terms apply to your use of Spotlight. Use the service only when you can validly agree to these terms. If you are under the age of majority, involve a parent or guardian where required. Do not make payments without authorization.
What Spotlight provides
Spotlight is an independent discovery and advertising service. Visitors can nominate and discover public social profiles, participate in community features and, where eligible, buy clearly labelled sponsored advertising on Spotlight’s own discovery surfaces. Spotlight does not sell Instagram followers, likes, views, engagement, account access or guaranteed reach.
Two separate credit systems
Free community credits. A browser session can receive 10 free community credits per day. They are not money, have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn or sold, and are used only to support profiles in People’s Spotlight, Fan Favourite and Community Rank. Community activity does not guarantee a rank or result.
Paid sponsored visibility credits. Creator, Pro and Business plans provide internal delivery units for 30 days. These credits have no cash value, are not a wallet balance or virtual currency, and cannot be withdrawn, transferred, gifted, exchanged or resold. They are consumed only for clearly labelled, time-limited sponsored advertising on Spotlight. They cannot change People’s Spotlight, Fan Favourite or Community Rank.
Sponsored advertising
You may advertise your own claimed profile or another eligible profile. Inventory may include a Featured hour, Category Spotlight, City Spotlight or Premium 24-hour campaign. A sponsored card is labelled “Sponsored” and is separate from organic community ranking. Availability, delivery and visibility can vary with traffic, eligibility, moderation, device and technical conditions. We do not promise impressions, clicks, followers, sales, collaborations or any other commercial outcome.
Paid advertising is not a way to buy an organic #1 rank. Do not describe a sponsored campaign as an endorsement by Spotlight, Instagram or Meta.
Profiles and ownership
Visitors can nominate Instagram profiles. A nomination does not prove ownership, endorsement or affiliation. Only an authorized, verified owner may edit protected profile information. Verification establishes control through the evidence available to Spotlight; it is not Meta verification or a guarantee of identity, credibility or business quality. Claims and nominations may require review.
Your responsibilities
Submit accurate information and only content you have the right to share. Do not impersonate others, submit false ownership evidence, harass people, publish private information without permission, manipulate traffic or payments, target protected groups, or interfere with the service. Keep your sign-in account secure. Spotlight may reject, pause or remove content or advertising that violates these terms or applicable law.
Payments, delivery and refunds
Razorpay processes payments. Login is required before a paid plan can be purchased. Sponsored visibility credits are added only after successful server-side payment verification and are delivered to the logged-in Spotlight account. See our Delivery Policy and Refund Policy for the delivery timeline, cancellation process and refund review rules. Do not send card details, UPI PINs, OTPs or access tokens to Spotlight support.
External services and collaborations
Instagram, Google, Razorpay and other linked services have their own terms. Spotlight is not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta. Profile listings and collaboration enquiries do not guarantee the conduct of another user or the outcome of a separate business agreement.
Availability and responsibility
We work to keep Spotlight available, but interruptions, moderation decisions and technical errors can occur. Features and advertising inventory may change. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or particular commercial results. These terms do not exclude rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. Follow data-deletion instructions to request account closure or removal of personal data. Updated terms will be posted here. Questions can be sent to support@bspotlight.in.
